The Fern Centre has a lot of information available about how to maintain a healthy diet and nutrition during and after cancer treatment. This includes information about healthy eating as well as recipe books for your to take away and try.

Support for relatives and carers

A cancer diagnosis can have a huge impact on a patient’s family or carer, which is why the Fern Centre offers a range of support that they can also freely access.

Look good, feel better

We work with Look Good Feel Better, a cancer support charity, to run monthly sessions to help boost the physical and emotional wellbeing of women undergoing cancer treatment. We also hope to set up sessions for men focused on skincare and grooming.

Exercises classes

Keeping active can also be extremely beneficial to patients during their cancer journey, which is why the Fern Centre offers low impact exercise classes that patients can access free of charge.

Breathing and Meditation

Breathing exercises and meditation can be hugely beneficial to help reduce stress, promote calmness and relaxation. Meditation can also promote emotional health and aid with anxiety as well as lowering your heart rate and blood pressure.
