The Berry Beast is back!
Abseil 180ft down the cliffs of Berry, near Hartland, while raising funds for your local NHS. Don’t be fooled by the beautiful scenery and stunning views across the North Atlantic seas, this is a challenge for even the bravest of souls! Don’t let the Beast beat you… you can do it!

The Berry Beast Abseil
- Date: Saturday 1 August 2026
- Time: The event will run from 10am to 4pm. Abseil time slot will be allocated prior to the event. You’re welcome to pop down just for your abseil, or stay for the day to cheer on the other participants!
- Cost: £25 registration fee, £100 minimum sponsorship
- Age: Minimum age is 13 (under 18’s will need to provide parental/guardian consent)
- Experience: None! The awesome instructors at Skern Lodge will be running the sessions and will provide all the training and support you need.
