We love hearing about the wonderful things people do to raise money for their local hospital.
Darren Goff completed his third London Marathon in April 2023, raising an incredible £4,764 in support of the neonatal unit at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital.
He said the unit provided exceptional care to his friends Emma and Jack when their baby Jamie died in October last year, aged only 8 days old.
Despite having recently suffered a few health conditions, Darren not only smashed his fundraising target of £2,000, he also smashed his previous marathon PB by 10 minutes!
